Shipping/Receiving Worker (Distribution Specialist)
Pay Rate: $23.80
Work Schedule:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11-7:30pm
Saturday and Sunday- 7:00am -3pm
Under supervision, responsible for pulling, packaging, and shipping customer orders for enteral supplies and equipment in a safe, effective, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure strong attendance and punctuality; meet daily minimum productivity requirements.
- Accurately process daily orders in a fast-paced, pick/pack environment.
- Meet established picking standards (18 orders/hour; ramping up over first 4 weeks).
- Pull and verify products for orders (product number and quantity).
- Box and pack orders with proper materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Stock shelves accurately, maintain clean and organized warehouse.
- Rotate stock; label date stickers, remove expired products.
- Assure compliance with regulatory, process control, and safety standards.
- Follow all company, employee, and regulatory policies.
- May operate forklift (with certification) and cut wafers as required.
- Prioritize shipments as directed by supervisor.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Standing most of the day required.
- Read, write, analyze, compare contents.
- Teamwork; communicate and collaborate with peers.
- Operation of warehouse equipment once certified.
- Prioritize shipments per supervisor instructions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic math concepts (fractions, ratios, percentages).
- Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving, ability to interpret instructions in multiple formats.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to lift, move quickly, bend, and stand for extended periods.
