Sr. Contract Recruiter
Temporary Position- UP TO 18 Months
Location: Emeryville, CA
Pay Rate is $80-100/hour DOE
This Senior Contract Recruiter needs to be a strong adviser with the demonstrated ability to understand Talent Acquisition requirements and turn that analysis into actionable solutions. A fundamental understanding of business strategy and how to link that with recruiting efforts. This role requires the candidate to be both strategic and tactical.

- You have a history of collaborating with R&D and business leaders from top-tier companies
- You deliver outstanding client service, negotiation, and closing skills
- You project manage all components involved in the full life-cycle recruiting process through close collaboration with the HR team
- You provide advice and coaching to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- You use a combination of recruiting techniques to creatively evaluate and hire top talent
- You act as an advocate for both client and candidate throughout the hiring process, establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through
- You extend offers, close candidates, and document results to further improve the offer acceptance rate
- You work closely with both the compensation partner and HRBP on refining technical ladders and leveling roles
What you'll do:
-Manages full cycle recruiting process including:
>Sourcing for talent
>Facilitating the interview process
>Testing and evaluation
>Rate & offer negotiations; reference checks
-Partner with HRBPs, hiring managers and other applicable parties to: Review and evaluate job openings; Design and implement sourcing strategies to meet business needs; deliver a diverse slate of candidates to hiring managers; define job-specific selection criteria and screening questions; Source and screen potential candidates; gather and consolidate feedback from interview team and complete interview evaluation documentation; Prepare offer terms and deliver verbal offer
-Ensures recruiting and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures in the pre-screening and post-employment process.
-Measure outcomes and strive for continuous improvement
-Provide strategic and consultative services to HRBPs and Hiring Managers; Influence business leaders to act in the best interest of company: Foster relationship and build credibility; ask tough questions and influence outcomes
-Collaborate with Coordinators to execute basic and complex transactions, recruiting administration, and reporting
-Identify recruiting trends in the marketplace; Stay current on recruiting practices in the marketplace
-Represent Company-s brand to external candidates; raise the bar for talent; -gatekeeper- and -match-maker-
-Support design and implementation of special projects
Knowledge, Experience, And Skills
-Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
-Understand how to use data to influence decision.
-Ability to gain credibility, engender trust, and influence across all levels of the organization.
-Strong partnering skills, bias for action and tangible results.
-At least 5 years- experience in a full cycle recruiting role.
-Ability to follow assignments through to completion with a bias towards action and execution.
-Extensive experience leading recruitment activities
-Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, marketing plans, policies, and programs.
-Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
-Experience working in a global environment
