Through CAMP's early college advising series—part of GEAR UP Arkansas—you'll help promote academic success and increase college awareness.   • Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 10am and 1pm

  • In-person training: September 17
  • Virtual training: September 18

  • Weekly pay
  • Associate's degree or pursuing: $22/hour
  • Bilingual (Spanish) Associate's degree or pursuing: $24/hour

    The role of a Success Coach.
    As a Success Coach, you will guide middle school students as they explore the path to college. We are looking for energetic individuals who have successfully navigated the college experience. You will help design and deliver programming in diverse academic settings, engage students in the classroom, and maintain accurate records—making meaningful contributions to our mission.


                  Direct Student Support (70%)

    • Deliver high-quality instruction, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment
    • Monitor and assess student understanding, provide feedback, and adjust instructional methods as needed
    • Review and tailor the provided early college advising curriculum to meet students' needs.
    Relationship-Building (20%)
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, staff, and students
    • Support CAMP by monitoring adherence to contractual agreements with GEAR UP Arkansas and school partners
    Program Planning and Operations (10%)
    • Prepare lesson plans and materials in advance
    • Accurately maintain records and assist with administrative tasks
    • Work independently, demonstrating initiative in overcoming challenges and achieving program goals
    • Work in collaboration with the school principal, teachers and CAMP team, in partnership with the Kelly® Education Team.
       
    Specific information about the Kelly® Education / CAMP program Little Rock, AR.
    • Provide in-person support and programming centered on empowering middle school students to consider higher education opportunities through an early college advising series designed by CAMP as part of GEAR UP Arkansas to promote academic success and raise college awareness.  
    • Minimum of 2 Success Coaches per classroom, working in small groups and one-on-one
    • Grade & Subject: Grade 8 College Readiness   
    • Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 10am and 1pm

    • Pursuing an Associate's degree or higher
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with students
    • Familiarity with the college admissions process
    • Highly organized and able to complete documentation on time
    • Self-motivated, able to work independently
    • Reliable transportation to scheduled school sites
    • Preferred: Middle or high school teaching experience; curriculum planning and instructional design experience
