Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Texarkana
Direct Hire 
Salary - 90k - 100k Depending on experience
Relocation assistance available

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for evaluating existing and potential Supplier s ability to supply quality products/services in compliance with specifications, drawings and contractual flow down requirements.
The Supplier Quality Engineer teamed with Purchasing shall monitor supplier performance, ensure effective root cause corrective action and support timely submittal of documentation requirements.
Principal Accountabilities: Accountabilities are statements documenting the specific and important results which the position is intended to achieve through time. They connect the major, significant, or principal functions performed to a result, against which some measurement of performance often can be applied.  Conduct supplier quality audits to assess new and potential Supplier process capabilities,
Quality System compliance and risk.
Evaluate application of SPC or other statistical techniques for products manufactured . 
Implement and manage a supplier corrective action program that will assure timely response times and effective Root Cause Corrective Actions to open issues and concerns.
Utilize a Supplier development program to assure that the company receives quality products on time, every time, cost effectively.
Coordinate with Suppliers to ensure they understand product/service requirements, inspection techniques and documentation expectations.
Collaborate with suppliers on timely submittal of product qualification plans FAAT and CDRL items.
Provide guidance to Receiving Inspection on inspection techniques and supplier documentation review.
Work with the Purchasing department to assure a streamlined method to prevent defective products and incomplete/incorrect documentation.
Support/create a supplier quality rating system that will effectively monitor and measure supplier performance.
