Supply Chain Business Analyst

 

  • Contract Duration: 12 months – Estimated to end: 12/2026 ( Contract Extension possibilities and internal hire potential)
  • Location: Remote Option - Minnesota, Minneapolis (55401)
  • Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
  • Work Authorization: Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents without CURRENT sponsorship transfer requirements. Sponsorship is NOT available NOW or in the FUTURE for this role.
  • Pay: Negotiable depending on direct-related experience up to $28 - $32 an hour

 

 

Job Summary:

Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers to field needs for sales/surgery support. Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders

What you will do:

The Supply Chain Business Analyst will be focused on life cycle management activities and related inventory transfers and placements. You will build relationships working with branches/Hubs/sales reps to pull end of life product from the field. We are also looking at high cannibalization rates of existing product lines with the introduction of a new system, and significant movement of inventory usage is expected.

 

  • Partner with Demand Planning and Marketing on product pullbacks along with launch forecasts.
  • Analyze and schedule communication and follow-up on kit targeting, movement and management as well as other supply chain activities
  • Generate suggestions and input that will allow the team to make better supply chain decisions.
  • Prepare analysis of targets and deliver progress updates to be used during scheduled meetings.
  • Provide data regarding current placements and incomplete transfers and to highlight slow moving areas.
  • Work with additional Field Offices for alternative product obtainment for underutilized assets.
  • Review inventory turns and make recommendations on increasing or decreasing stock levels.
  • Provide management with data that supports or denies requests for increased par levels and expired replacements.

 

What you need-
  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with supply chain, warehouse or financial inventory control systems, processes and product placement in a demanding, fast-paced environment, preferred.
  • This includes situational needs assessment, product usage, and inventory control systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical / quantitative skills, ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple competing priorities and work under time pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated technical skills required (e.g. ERP system, Outlook, Excel, Power BI preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting at multiple levels within the organization.
