Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday / 7:00AM to 5:00PM/ REMOTE after 1 day of training
Term: 7 months with a possibility of term extension
Payrate: USD 20/hr
Job Summary:
The Tax Collections Representative is responsible for contacting taxpayers to resolve delinquent tax accounts through phone outreach and scheduled field visits. This role ensures compliance by educating taxpayers, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records in multiple system
Job Description:

Review and update taxpayer account information in internal systems.

Contact taxpayers via phone to collect on delinquent accounts and negotiate payment plans.

Conduct scheduled field visits to businesses or residences as needed.

Educate taxpayers on compliance requirements, financial documentation, and available online resources.

Record all interactions, payments, and updates accurately in multiple databases.

Participate in team meetings, training, and performance reviews.

Support asset recovery activities under supervision, including assisting in property or inventory seizures.
Must Haves
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
At least 2 years of consecutive experience in a fast-paced call center (finance, insurance, or telecom industry).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask, organize information, and manage time effectively.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.

Reliable internet connection (wired preferred) and ability to work remotely.

Reside in the Greater Phoenix Metro area and able to attend in-person orientation.
Nice to haves:

Spanish-speaking ability.

Associate degree or higher in business, communication, or a related field.

Experience with process improvement or workflow optimization.

Previous experience in tax, financial services, or government operations.

Familiarity with financial documentation or compliance procedures.
