Kelly Science & Clinical is excited to partner with a leading winery to hire a Temporary Lab Technician in the [Local Area]. This is a 4–6 month assignment with a Day Shift schedule and a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced laboratory and production environment.

Position Summary:

This temporary Lab Technician will support quality and production operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in both lab and production settings.

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Days: Monday – Friday

• Some weekends may be required based on business needs.
• Approx: Pay: $19/hr DOE 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect production samples from the tank farm and bottling room

• Replenish inventory of lab supplies

• Assist with micro plating, plate reading, and holds processing

• May conduct analytical testing on samples as needed

• Operate golf cart in facility (training provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education (one of the following):

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree with at least 12 units of college-level chemistry or biology lab courses

  • Currently enrolled and on track to complete such a degree with the same course requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent + 3 years of Lab Technician experience with increasing responsibility

  • High school diploma or equivalent + 3 Harvest Seasons as a Winery Lab Assistant

• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• 21 years of age or older

• Willingness to operate a golf cart in warehouse settings with forklift traffic
