What a typical day as a Upholstery Technician Sr might look like:

• Receive and inspect materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient and orderly manner.
• Prepare materials for production by gathering, cutting, and labeling as required.
• Assist in the assembly and installation of materials, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure materials are readily available for production.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate any issues or concerns related to materials or inventory to the appropriate personnel.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Previous experience in upholstery, cabinetry, or finishing work is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of different materials, fabrics, and finishes used in aviation interiors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Strong leadership and team management skills
