Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Job Type: Full Time
Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
About the Position:
Join our customer who has a new location in Alpharetta, GA, for an exciting opportunity as a Warehouse Associate. If you're experienced in distribution warehouse setup and management, we want you! In this role, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders and managing incoming freight while adhering to company guidelines to support on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all shipping activities in the warehouse.
  • Pick and pack orders and restock pick locations.
  • Receive products from company transfers and vendor-supplied materials.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensure products are safely and efficiently distributed to consumers.
  • Maintain safe and clean work practices.
Requirements:
  • Ability to run the shipping system, and pull and pack orders.
  • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and distribution preferred.
  • Legible reading and writing skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of part numbers and product locations.
  • Familiarity with basic warehouse principles.
  • Comfortable using basic office and warehouse equipment.
  • Proficiency in basic math, such as addition and subtraction.
  • Accuracy in shipping and receiving details.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Forklift and Order Picker certification preferred.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods, crouch, kneel, walk, push, and lift daily.
  • Operate computer, telephone, voicemail, and other office equipment.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
