Custodial - Janitorial Associate – Warehouse Cleaner
Location: Pooler, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Start: Immediate openings available!
Type: Temp-to-hire opportunity with a top local warehouse employer Role Overview Are you reliable, hard-working, and proud of your custodial or janitorial skills? Join our team as a Custodial/Janitorial Associate and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in our busy Pooler, GA warehouse facilities. Experience with floor sweepers is a plus! Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning of warehouse areas, offices, restrooms, and break rooms
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust throughout the facility
  • Empty trash cans and replace paper towels as needed
  • Keep outside areas and warehouse trash cans tidy
  • Periodically check and maintain cleanliness standards in all areas
  • Operate or train on floor scrubbers, high-reach lift trucks, and pressure washers for overhead and heavy-duty cleaning
  • Safely handle and train in the usage of cleaning chemicals
Requirements
  • Prefer at least 2 years of custodial/janitorial experience
  • Previous warehouse cleaning experience is a plus
  • Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexible availability for any shift and occasional weekends as needed
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for job instructions and safety procedures
  • Able to train on cleaning equipment (floor sweeper, pressure washer, lift truck)
  • Team player with strong organization and time management skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, stoop, and work in warm and dusty conditions
  • Commitment to working safely and maintaining a hazard-free environment
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
