Forklift Operator II – Warehouse
Location: Clayton, NC
Pay: $24.15
Shift Options: Day Shift A (2) & B (1) 6:00am – 6:30pm 3/2/2/3
Shift selection will be discussed during interview. Position Summary
Kelly is seeking experienced Forklift Operator II candidates to support our warehouse operations and production lines. Selected candidates will work with limited supervision, demonstrate warehouse processes for new associates, and efficiently manage materials to keep production flowing. All candidates must have four (4) years' experience on stand-up forklifts (Raymond, reach, height variations, EPJ), and must provide their own PPE (safety shoes required). Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up forklifts (Raymond/reach/height variations/EPJ), including daily inspection of each forklift used.
  • Deliver correct material/components to production lines on time.
  • Scan every pallet moved from start to finish; maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Assist the trainer by demonstrating key operational tasks for new associates.
  • Practice and promote pedestrian/forklift safety, including stopping at intersections and centering loads.
  • Escalate safety or product incidents in real-time.
  • Work in both ambient and cold room conditions (bring jacket and steel toe shoes).
  • Support systematic and physical inventory counts.
  • Use PDA, PAS-X, and SAP systems for warehouse operations.
  • Engage with stakeholders and communicate effectively via Microsoft Excel, Teams, or similar platforms.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in forklifts/warehousing; minimum 4 years on stand-up forklifts.
  • Prior experience with PDA, PAS-X, SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and other similar tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to support and demonstrate tasks for team members.
  • Must supply own PPE (steel toe shoes).
Safety Expectations
  • Complete daily inspection for each forklift used.
  • Observe pedestrian right-of-way and proper intersection protocols.
  • Correctly align and center loads within designated areas.
  • Promptly escalate any safety or product-related incidents.
