Kelly is now hiring Forklift Operators for a company in Hazleton, PA

- Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
- Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM, Monday to Friday (with mandatory overtime as needed)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate gas or electric powered forklift trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials and goods.
- Perform loading and unloading of transport vehicles, ensuring the safe handling of raw materials, unfinished products, and finished goods.
- Conduct safety checks on forklifts to maintain operational safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist and train lower-level employees, providing guidance on best practices and procedures.
- Analyze non-routine problems and make minor adjustments to enhance work methods.
- Provide senior-level administrative or technical support as needed.
- Act as a mentor or informal team leader for junior personnel, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, with certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze non-routine issues.
- Effective communication skills to explain practices and procedures to team members and external partners.
- Proficient in relevant competencies associated with the role.
