Description
Welder – Join Our Skilled Team!
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Welder to become an important part of our production crew! If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding with weld wire feeder and gas to repair and refurbish crates.
- Inspect crates for structural integrity, replace missing parts or hardware, and ensure top quality standards.
- Meet daily quotas for refurbished and welded units.
- Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, hammers, drills, reciprocating saws, and scraping tools.
- Apply spray paint as needed for finished products.
- Safely lift items weighing 20-30 lbs. and handle other physical duties including bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Operate cranes as required and assist with general plant tasks, including sweeping and mopping for a clean workspace.
- Wear all required PPE on the job.
- Bring your own welding hood and steel toe boots.
- Be flexible! Work in other plant areas as needed and be prepared for possible overtime and some Saturdays during peak seasons.
- Experience with MIG welding machine operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Reliability and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
