Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:  $24 - $28 DOE, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities: As a Welding Quality Inspector, your daily tasks include:

• Conducting thorough inspections to ensure products meet quality and contractual specifications.
• Adhering to all company safety and quality protocols.
• Guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and specifications for materials and workmanship.
• Analyzing welding specifications and assisting the team in addressing fabrication challenges.
• Documenting and segregating non-conforming materials and workmanship.
• Collaborating with site management and shop supervisor to rectify non-conformances.
• Ensuring Welding Specification Procedures (WPS) are current and implemented.
• Supervising or conducting Welder Qualification Test Reports (WQTR) in accordance with industry standards.
• Staying updated with industry licenses, code analysis, and procedures.
• Coordinating with Quality Assurance and Site Managers to develop annual employee training programs.
• Representing the company in field investigations related to product quality and conformity.
• Operating overhead crane safely.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
• Performing other assigned duties.

• Have received welding inspection training.
• Possess knowledge of welding codes like AWS, City of LA standards, API, UL, or STI.
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting contract documents and blueprints.
