Workplace Development Coordinator
Mobile, AL
Temporary
$25/hr


Kelly is seeking a Workplace Development Coordinator to work with the HR team of our client, an international pioneer in the aerospace industry, on a temporary basis.

The Workforce Development Coordinator will:

  • Coordinate and assist with the development of sustainable and durable workforce partnerships in the Southeast and Gulf Coast Region
  • Analyze labor demands and supply side dynamics
  • Build partnership models and approaches
  • Marshal internal resources and collaboration and align external political leadership
  • Partner with other allied employers and educational institutions (at all levels)
  • Support the integration and articulation with K-12 districts and secondary schools
  • Provide assistance to existing initiatives.
  • Work with a team to manage program deliverables within budgetary, resources, and scheduling requirements against defined project milestones and deadlines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders (e.g. education leaders, faculty, and employers) and internal teams (e.g. human resources and recruiting).
  • Facilitate regional/statewide planning and implementation, including needs assessments, strategic planning, adaptation to local needs, and progress monitoring
  • Drive successful implementation, including curriculum and program development, educator professional development, employer engagement, collaboration with government and non-profit organizations, and other workforce development intermediary organizations
  • Develop an evaluation system of each program's effectiveness and output
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and manage feedback systems
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in education leadership, workforce development, or human resources
  • Experience in education, career preparation counseling, workforce development, recruitment, HR, or related fields
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of curriculum development tools and practices
  • Prior military recruiting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Experience in fast-paced entrepreneurial startup and/or corporate culture
  • Relevant program management experience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize in a sometimes ambiguous environment and within cross-functional, global teams
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed
