Account Manager
This position is critical to promoting Kimal Lumber to customers and meeting agreed upon sales and margin goals that surpass annual budgetary targets. This position will be the lead of an internal group of support positions - a team within the Sales Team that will create a personalized level of sales and marketing for each of his/her assigned customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build existing business and identify new market opportunities in southwest Florida for Kimal services.
- Achieve sales and margin targets across all product categories as a direct sales representative for specified accounts.
- Represent Kimal Lumber at project meetings and industry events, and deliver formal sales presentations when necessary.
- Handle customer complaints, resolve issues, assist in collections, and manage credit matters.
- Visit customer jobsites to promote sales, assist with quotes, coordinate orders, ensure deliveries, and address disputes.
- Approve merchandise returns and occasionally make small deliveries when needed.
- Maintain a professional vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
- Stay informed about market conditions, competitors' pricing, and product knowledge.
- Follow Kimal's policies and procedures for order processing and customer service.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Skills Needed:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to six months of sales experience
- Ability to write reports or business correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public in English
- Ability to operate a vehicle and have a valid driver's license
- Have a good knowledge of products that Kimal sells (lumber, doors, mouldings, trusses, etc.), and be able to effectively and professionally present information about those products and services to builders, homeowners, and other tradesman

- Regularly required to walk, see, talk and hear. Often required to stand, crouch, or sit
- Regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally required to lift up to 50lbs
- Regularly required to see clearly with close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
