**Employment Type:** PRN (Pro Re Nata, as needed)

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, personalized care to our patients and assist them with their daily activities and personal care needs. You will work in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to enhance the well-being and quality of life for those under your care. The right candidate will have flexible availability, able to cover shifts on short notice, and the flexibility to cover 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift , weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support patients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic medical attention, including changing bandages and ensuring proper wound care.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in patient living areas.
- Document and communicate changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.
- Follow care plans and instructions outlined by nurses and healthcare providers.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a positive atmosphere.

**Qualifications:**

- Active CNA or HHA certification in the state of Indiana.
- CPR and First Aid certification or willing to obtain certification (required).
- Proven experience as a CNA or HHA, with a strong understanding of patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
