Sun-Rype Products (USA), Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun-Rype Products Ltd. (B.C., Canada), is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in Selah, WA.

Position Summary: This position will conduct necessary testing throughout all facility production processes, maintaining the record of test results received. This position will enable Quality management to make in-process adjustments with the goal of achieving the required end product specification.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of raw fruit.
- Operation and calibration of lab equipment.
- Performance of tests on production lines, in-process product, and finished product.
- Collection of samples in support of all relevant programs.
- Communication of out-of-spec results to relevant stakeholders, implementation of corrective action.
- Maintenance, organization, and sanitation of QA responsible areas, including but not limited to lab, throughout shift.
- Creating and maintaining complete, accurate records of all testing performed.
- Performance of sanitation inspections throughout the facility and on incoming tankers.
- Pumping and flushing of juice to production lines.
- Quality, GMP, and Food Safety auditing. Ensuring SOPs are adhered to.
- Additional responsibilities as required.

A. Physical Requirements:
This position requires the following physical demands up to 90% of the time:
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds,
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift minus breaks and lunch,
- Must be able to work in hot, humid and/or cold areas,
- Must have good hand-eye coordination.
B. Non-Physical Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One year experience in a juice processing and/or bottling environment preferred.
- Special Skills:
- Able to work any shift, overtime and any or all days of the week in accordance with plant needs.
- Understanding of required analyses and proper use of lab equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.

- The QA Lab Technician must interact and communicate effectively with all employees of the organization. Effective communication is especially important with the shift supervisor.
