The Revenue Manager a new role that is responsible for facilitating the development of a Revenue Management team and then its ongoing management and continuous improvement. This role will be a subject matter expert on net sales management: trade spend, pricing, product mix/packaging and will ensure the data, systems, tools, and people needed to support best in class revenue management are in place. This role will bring analytical rigor, strategic insights, and sound business judgement to pricing and product decisions with a specific focus on trade spend opportunities. The ideal candidate has track record of driving initiatives from strategy to execution and influencing key stakeholders. This role reports to Director of Consumer Insights and Analytics & Revenue Management and is based out of our Cherry Hill location. 



Developing Strategy and Increasing Visibility:

  • Collaborate with director to become expert on revenue management vision, strategy, and roadmap. 
  • Lead enhancement of trade and pricing tools and processes. Support research to advise organization on best practices, resources, technology, and tools in Revenue Growth Management
  • Assess and document all data and process related to net sales (allowances, trade spend, pricing discounts) across multiple teams in the organization as foundation to support revenue strategy.
  • Deliver insights to senior leadership to facilitate pricing awareness, discussions, and action plans. 
  • Reinforce targets, policies, and processes to achieve efficiencies in revenue generation and capture. 

Revenue Planning:

  • Identify pricing, promotions, and trade investment opportunities through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Integrate insights into demand and trade forecasting processes
  • Leverage data from internal and external existing systems, models, and tools: shipments (QAD/Qlikview), trade planning tools, Circana
  • Establishes analytics and methods to measure and forecast demand and market conditions

Trade and Promotions:

  • Identify data needs to leverage for best in class pricing and promotional analysis. Work with category management team to establish what is currently available and create roadmap and/or business case for additional needs.
  • Using existing resources, identify broad changes to trade promotions strategies to improve and solidify trade calendars and price points by customer, category and segment. 
  • Create standard Trade ROI tracking and distribution.


  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.



  • No direct reports at hire, eventual growth to manage 0-2 employees
  • Responsible for developing department budget and maintaining cost to budget
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or math oriented field (statistics, engineering, data science)
  • Minimum of 5 years in revenue growth management, trade marketing, sales planning, brand management or related roles preferably in consumer packaged goods company (CPG)


  • Experience in pricing strategy and analytics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Proficient in syndicated data systems and reporting methodologies
  • Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative, team player with the ability to bring together cross functional
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of TPM/TPO systems, pricing software packages =
  • Knowledge data management systems
  • Understanding of basic statistical analysis and its applications
  • Excellent project management and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 




This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.


FREQUENT:  sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.


OCCASIONAL:  squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.


VISION:  Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.


HEARING:  Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
