POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Coordinator will support internal administrative work that drives our business forward and implements internal processes related to day to day account needs. The position is designed to keep the business flowing smoothly with timely and accurate attention to detail as it relates to the below.  This role reports to the Channel Sales Manager with a support role to the Senior VP of private Label sales and is based out of our Cherry Hill, New Jersey location. 

 


Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Internal and administrative support, working with the Senior VP of sales.
  • Price list maintenance and promotional (buy-docs, OI, Accrual, Trade Planner) needs
  • Facilitation of PLM (pushing projects through feasibility to pricing)
  • Commercialization project timelines (new item startups, in and outs, discontinuations)
  • New customer and new item setup
  • Sample requests
  • Assistance with special projects as they relate to bid activity

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years Business Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or other discipline directly related to the position. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Ability to effectively interact, engage and communicate with internal and external customers
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to craft professional presentations
  • Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
  • Prior experience with QAD/Qlikview is preferred 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.

 

FREQUENT:  sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.

 

OCCASIONAL:  squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.
