Job SummaryThe Director, HRIS provides leadership, planning and project and direction for the planning, implementation, and management of the company's Human Resources Information Systems. This role assumes accountability for HRIS and payroll systems, including SuccessFactors (SAP) and ADP, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and system optimization. The Director leads HR technology initiatives, provides project management and system consulting and advice to other departments and cross-functional teams to align HR systems with organizational goals and operational needs.
Job Responsibilities• Provide direction and oversight for all Human Resources Information System (HRIS) functions, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of HR, payroll, and reporting services across the organization.
• Oversee daily operations of HRIS and payroll systems, including SuccessFactors and ADP, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely processing of all employee transactions.
• Partner with IT and functional teams to optimize system configurations, automate workflows, and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.
• Serve as a business system consultant to HR and payroll by providing expert guidance on process improvements, data analytics, and system capabilities.
• Lead the development and execution of the HRIS strategic roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals and HR's strategic operating plan.
• Supervise and develop HRIS staff and fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability in system administration and data management.
• Ensure HRIS data accuracy, security, and compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable employment and tax laws.
• Partner with SuccessFactors and ADP support teams to identify opportunities for new functionality, integrations, and process automation.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, end-user training materials, and communication resources to support adoption and consistent usage.
• Collaborate with HR leaders and stakeholders to ensure HR technology solutions meet business needs while maintaining compliance and consistency
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with expertise in HRIS and payroll operations, including hands-on experience with SuccessFactors (SAP) and ADP.
• Proven leadership in HR systems implementation, data analytics, and process optimization, with strong project management and supervisory skills.
• Advanced proficiency in reporting and data tools (e.g.Excel) and deep understanding of business system enhancements, integrations, and automation.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong technical project management, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to translate functional HR requirements into system solutions and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
