Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Executive Assistant for our Bridgeton, MO facility.  We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive individual to provide comprehensive support to Senior Leadership.  The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized, detailed oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  This role requires discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to anticipate needs while managing day-to-day operations.  The Executive Assistant will serve as a key liaison, managing calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, and fostering positive relationships across the organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handle a variety of administrative responsibilities in support of the executive(s)
  • Heavy calendar management and meeting coordination and logistics
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Prepare special reports, summaries, or reply to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources
  • Provide recommendations to resolve administrative problems
  • Support project management initiatives and assist with operational improvement
  • Assist executive administrative details, often of a confidential nature
  • Work on assignments requiring some judgment and initiative
  • Plan and coordinate leadership meetings, off-sites, and team events
  • Coordinate preparation of reports such as budget expenditures, statistical reports, or performance measures
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international), expense report processing and reimbursement
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Peform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma and 7 years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management  
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and anticipate executive needs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Team player, able to meet deadlines, handles a high volume of work
  • High attention to detail
     

The expected pay scale for this position is $58,466.00/year - $83,606.00/year for the state of Illinois. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly. When extending an offer of employment, Leonardo DRS considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position; any Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the candidate's relevant work experience, education/training, certifications, and key skills; internal equity; and market and business considerations.
