Job Summary Job Responsibilities- Performs daily activities focused on Environmental Protection and Employee Safety
- Preparation of Safety Data Sheet (SDS), master labels and other documentation as needed
- Aids management with safety and regulatory audits
- Overseas the hazardous waste removal and handling procedures
- Responsible for customer inquiries on shipping, handling, and disposal of chemicals
- Responsible for generating literature for orders, SDS, etc.
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Implements an effective preventative maintenance program to ensure the stewardship of DRS assets
- Responds to problems and issues in a tactful and expedient manner
- Performs facilities inspections and reporting requirements
- Collects data and generates reports and metrics
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, Science or related field preferred with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with OSHA and annual compliance training strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization and negotiation skills are mandatory
- Must have excellent PC-based computer skills
