The Leonardo DRS Land Systems business is a recognized leader in the design and integration of complex technologies into new and legacy systems and platforms for global military and commercial customers. We are a 5 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area.
Job Summary
DRS Land Systems is seeking a first shift Coordinator III Engineering to perform administrative activities in support of the Engineering organization. Specifically, management of Item Unique Identifier database both internally and on government systems.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain Item Unique Identifier database internally and on government systems.
- Develop process to automate data collection and database update
- Perform a variety of difficult to complex activities in support of functional areas such as production operations or engineering for a specific project, business, or a technical unit
- Participate in the development and implementation of projects, work methods and procedures
- Recommend changes to improve efficiency
- Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
- Compile, review and analyze data
- Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
- May design processes to enhance workflow
- Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
- This position typically spends 70% of their time supporting the function
- Thorough understanding of general job aspects and moderate understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of experience
- Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
- Must have the ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
- Must pay exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage own time effectively, produce work of the highest quality, and meet deadlines consistently
- Must be proficient in office procedures and possess good writing and verbal skills
