Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing overall cash management and reporting for the Electro Optics Infrared Systems (EOIS) business unit.

Job Responsibilities

•    Primarily responsible for evaluating and reporting cash forecast for the business unit
•    Responsible for analyzing working capital requirements and forecasts for risks and opportunities and overall working capital forecast alignment to business strategic objectives
•    Provide assistance to management and internal customers, interpreting accounting reports and identifying and resolving problem areas 
•    Perform highly complex tasks within a Deltek Costpoint accounting environment 
•    Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and treasury standards and practices 
•    Conduct independent research and apply analytical and problem solving skills to lead and complete numerous and diverse special projects  
•    Present findings of work to senior management 
•    Analyze and interpret trends or deviations from standards  
•    Provide guidance to less experienced staff members  
•    Recommend working capital related accounting policies and procedures 

•    Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field and at least eight years of directly related experience in accounting or treasury function, preferably in a government contracting environment (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
  • MA, MS and/or professional certification is preferred
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CSAS, and SOX
  • Contract compliance knowledge
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Understand financial analysis principles and best practices
  • Ability to mentor junior staff members
  • Working knowledge of IR&D/B&P/direct sell and allowable vs. unallowable cost
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite , MS Project, Visio, Oracle, Pro Pricer)
