LewisGale Medical Center (LGMC) delivers quality care to our patients located in the beautiful mountainous region of Southwest Virginia. SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS ROLE:
- Continuously monitors electrocardiograph recordings on a central station monitor.
- Maintains patient record according to hospital policy.
Communicates effectively with staff supervisors, ancillary departments and other customers.
Maintains neat and organized work area
Attends required annual and job specific education opportunities.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Satisfactory completion of Basic Cardiac EKG Class (required)
Previous experience in healthcare setting (required)
Previous monitor technician experience (preferred)
Satisfactory completion of Basic Cardiac EKG Class (required)
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Healthcare Provider (required)

- Day Shift (12 hour shifts)
