Analyst, Sourcing & Supplier Management Job Description Summary:Mastercard is growing! We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Sourcing and Supplier Management team. In this role, you will execute sourcing strategies, manage sourcing operations, and foster supplier relationships to reduce costs and mitigate risk. You will support the development of category, business unit, and/or market strategies to enhance spend management, supplier performance, and compliance. Additionally, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including spend analysis, requirements definition, RFx management, and contract negotiations.
Your Role:
- Manage sourcing requests in collaboration with internal business units, ensuring compliance with Mastercard's procurement policies.
- Partner with various Sourcing teams (e.g., Regional Sourcing, Category Management, Data, Payments) to drive efficient purchasing aligned with Global Supply Chain strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders; provide guidance on procurement processes and best practices.
- Understand and navigate key sourcing systems (e.g., COUPA, Oracle, Workday, Remedy) and their interdependencies.
- Review procurement contracts to assess risks and ensure terms and conditions align with Mastercard's standards.
- Lead contract negotiations to minimize risk and maximize cost savings when unfavorable terms are identified.
- Facilitate RFx processes to help business units identify suppliers that meet their specific needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support team members with procurement and Mastercard-related queries.
- Lead projects from a Center of Excellence (CoE) perspective, ensuring alignment with sourcing goals.
- Continuously identify and recommend improvements to Mastercard's purchasing processes.
