The Mastercard Services global product team is seeking a Product Specialist to support the operational and administrative area of its executive thought leadership programme called Innovation Trips. This role will be part of the delivery team within Digital Labs.

The Innovation Trip Programme.
Innovation Trips provide a “bespoke” learning experience designed to immerse change-makers in concepts and experiences tailored to a specific organizational objective. By visiting a location with unique characteristics of interest, an innovation trip provides an opportunity to explore topics and trends that directly align with the participant's business goals.

Attendees are executives and decision-makers seeking to drive innovation within their organizations.
Innovation Trips provide our clients with the following:
Bespoke Itinerary:
• Each trip is tailored (to the degree that it is feasible and viable) to the client's needs/area of interest and innovation challenges.
Focused Themes:
• The program is designed around themes such that are unique to that location. Examples: Fintech in UAE, Digital Payments in Brazil
Hands on Experience:
• Talks, interactive workshops with global experts.
• Real-world demonstrations of cutting-edge technology and solutions.
Actionable Insights:
• Customized debriefs with key takeaways, actionable strategies, and a roadmap for implementation post-trip.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day delivery across the following three areas:
Operational:
• Act as the single operational POC for Innovation Trips
• Ensures that operating, customer, and market readiness requirements are met for the Innovation Trip program
• Opportunity tracking and revenue recognition
• Cost/Revenue reconciliation
• External agency management (for guests A&A booking, venue and speaker booking)
• Process for engaging with and paying speakers
• Supports efforts to ensure recoverability of essential business functions in the event of business disruption, including providing recommendations for modifications.
• Works closely with external agencies and suppliers to ensure consistent high quality program delivery (including liaising around venues, logistics, payment co-ordination etc..)
• Manage the completion of post-delivery tasks to include survey and content centre creation and information gathering, reconciliations, expense reporting, time allocations, project assignments
• Drive team scheduling, maintaining program delivery calendars & resource assignments
Finance:
• Establish clear and implement clear financial processes for setting up and executing Innovation Trips
• Drive the approval process to assess commercial viability of proposals and make appropriate decisions
• Budget control to ensure expected margins are achieved (and to share best practice)
• Revenue tracking
• Managing perceptions regarding IT revenue vs Digital Innovation revenue
• Helps inform to the annual budgeting and financial strategy for their area of responsibility.
• Drive all salesforce activities, to include opportunities and projects from implementation to completion of projects, ensuring all delivery milestones are met and each project meets full expectations (escalating challenges as appropriate).
Oversight and Value:
• Provide project oversight and value tracking
• Include Delivery Lead's in exploratory conversations about Innovation Trips at the earliest point
• Partner with key stakeholders within other Mastercard teams such as Engines to leverage expertise and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Establish process to measure success and client satisfaction
• Monitors and defines KPIs for their area of responsibility
• Create feedback loops to amplify positive experiences
• Develop methods to track value of Innovation Trips beyond the Innovation Trip itself
• Supports the development of product enhancements with the wider team
• Implements and monitors business processes and standards to ensure a controlled, sustainable, global operating environment consistent with profitability standards in their area of responsibility
• Works with the team and a wider group of colleagues to support the development and management of strategic roadmaps in support of product expansion goals
• Support the team with program management assistance where necessary, being a backup resource for delivery

Your Experience
• Agile thinker who can multi-tasks across multiple operational and administrative duties.
• Can prioritise effectively, able to balance short-term needs with longer-term vision
• Have relevant prior experience (1-2 years) eg. in event management, project management, administration.
• Solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to enhance operational process.
• Highly organized with a very strong attention to detail.
• Have a keen interest in innovation & technology.
• Proven track record collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results
• Strong excel and Powerpoint skills
• Strong appetite to learn with a high degree of self-motivation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interface with clients
• Bachelor's degree or certifications that are relevant for the role.
• Naturally curious and comfortable with change
