Job Title

Business Development RepresentativeThe Market Development team at Ethoca is the “tip of the spear” for the sales engine. They are the prospecting arm of the business and are responsible for driving new opportunities into the pipeline. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone looking to enter the payments industry, working with some of the largest global companies. This role has clear growth potential as you will gain exposure to multiple business channels and career development opportunities.

Your Challenge:
• Methodically prospect up to executive level (through cold and warm campaigns) within enterprise target customers
• Will run full sales cycle with inbound leads and small/mid-market prospects
• Input and track all prospecting and lead management activities in Salesforce.com. Educate, and qualify inbound leads via phone and email to create sales-ready opportunities.
• Proactively look for opportunities to improve, optimize end-to-end lead management and other sales and marketing processes
• Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas (monthly, quarterly and annually) to ensure revenue objectives
• Disseminate opportunities to the sales team, educating sales executives as necessary about the opportunity
• Schedule appointments for Sales Executives with suitable qualified leads, setting suitable expectations with the potential customer
• Represent Ethoca at industry tradeshows and networking events
• Identify and understand trends within industries and customers

All About You:

Bachelor's Degree Required

"Can do" and positive attitude to effect change, open and creative mindset; comfortable with uncertainty, changing and fast paced environment.

In-depth knowledge / experience using all relevant tools to source and prospect (LinkedIn Sales Nav, Zoominfo, etc.)

Technology and/or Payments Industry experience preferred

Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, sales acumen, product management, project management, leading and influencing others cross functional team members, and technology application skills are critical

Required Skills and Experience:
• Some experience in a Sales/Lead Generation (ideally selling software or software-as-a-service)
• Determined personality and driven by results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
• Salesforce.com experience a plus
