Title and Summary

Consultant – Project Coordinator Advisors & Consulting Services
Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Management consultants lead clients through business transformations by implementing strategically important Mastercard assets and services to bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and the client's organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented talent to support repeatable projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project scoping, financials management, forecasting, documentation workflow with external third parties , and financial accuracy checks. This role requires independence after training and a commitment beyond one year.
Client Impact
• Support the delivery of repeatable, fast-paced projects by coordinating project operations, including scoping validation, financials, forecasting, and documentation control.
• Lead the preparation of multiple pricing and labor allocation scenarios
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all project documentation, including SOWs, 3PC approvals, Salesforce, and vendor forms (e.g., Coupa, Oracle).
• Act as the primary point of contact for issue resolution related to invoicing, accounting, financials, coordinating with finance and accounting teams as needed.
• Manage deliverable development and workstreams on multiple large, complex high-value projects across a range of industries, problem statements, and cultures including the implementation of core payments products, security solutions, and loyalty platforms
• Utilize proven, accredited project and change management methodologies and techniques to help clients drive measurable value, example includes project management support of Key client marketing initiatives
• Define scope, timelines, and budget and perform cost, benefit, and risk analyses
• Report on issues, risks, progress, and timelines and summarize effectively, offering analysis, options, and credible solutions
• Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner

Team Collaboration & Culture
• Operate independently after onboarding, with initial oversight from senior team members during the first 3–5 projects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing team and Business Development to ensure timely and accurate projects setup and execution.
• Proactively manage capacity planning to ensure bandwidth for incoming requests
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying recurring issues and proposing scalable solutions.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in managing project timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications
• 4–6 years of experience as project manager/coordinator or marketing manager/coordinator, actively working with 3rd parties. Ideally in a consulting, payments, or financial services environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce tools
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training.
• Proven experience managing documentation workflows, financial accuracy, and stakeholder coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred qualifications
• Familiarity with Coupa, Oracle, and procurement workflows
• Experience supporting marketing or operational projects with complex approval chains
• Exposure to client-facing roles or vendor management.
• Interest in long-term growth within project operations or delivery management.
• Knowledge of Project Management tools

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
