Title and Summary

Director, Deploy Solutioning & Architecture Mastercard Services enables customers across industries and geographies to make smarter decisions and reach better outcomes with a tailored portfolio of solutions beyond the transaction.

Deploy is one of the fastest growing services with the Consulting & Digital Labs product organization. The Deploy product line provides world-class execution support services to the ecosystem of Mastercard partners – issuers, processors, merchants, fintechs – to accelerate value realization and drive seamless end-to-end deployment of our most critical advanced assets. Particularly, the products focus on 5 key client support areas:
- Helping clients implement Mastercard assets like C2P, Mastercard Move, Data platforms, etc.
- Supporting large transformation programs with proprietary PMO methodology
- Providing dedicated on-site resources to grow our common business with our clients
- Guiding fintechs into launching and growing their business
- Helping develop digital channels like digital first products, neobanks, wallets or acquiring solutions
The Global Deploy Product team is seeking a Director to serve as the technical backbone of the Deploy product team — designing how Deploy's services, particularly technical implementation, can be applied to accelerate Mastercard and third-party product adoption. Unlike strategy roles that focus on market expansion and positioning, this role is hands-on in shaping solution architectures, integration approaches, and delivery frameworks, while also enabling our delivery teams to scale technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Map regional pain points/needs and bring global product initiatives to the regions, sharing best practices, advocating new solutions, and advancing Deploy priorities
- Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, marketing, delivery, and other relevant teams to align priorities and communicate value propositions effectively
- Ensure Deploy effectively advances the positioning and differentiation of the broader Payments Consulting and broader Services and Mastercard product offerings
- Design and solution how Deploy services, especially technical implementation, can accelerate adoption of Mastercard and third-party products.
- Translate client and regional needs into executable architectures, delivery models, and integration approaches that ensure scalable adoption.
- Develop reusable assets, frameworks, and playbooks to enable consistent, high-quality delivery across markets.
- Guide and upskill the delivery team in building technical implementation capabilities, applying expertise in system integration, architecture, and software development practices.
- Serve as technical authority within the Deploy product team, partnering with leadership, sales, and delivery to advise on feasibility, integration pathways, and value articulation
- Support impactful, large scale client opportunities especially as we scale, transitioning knowledge to local resources in regions.
All About You:
- Proven experience as a solution architect, technical consultant, or technology leader, with expertise in system integration, enterprise architecture, and software delivery.
- Deep understanding of deployment models, APIs, middleware, and cloud/on-premise enterprise platforms.
- Experience bridging technical and commercial priorities — able to design executable solutions that enable revenue growth and client adoption.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Effective communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts for senior stakeholders, sales teams, and clients.
- Collaborative leader with experience enabling delivery teams, building repeatable frameworks, and driving execution excellence.
- Intellectually curious and entrepreneurial, comfortable working in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
- Fluent in English (Spanish highly desirable); able to work effectively across diverse regions and cultures.
- Relevant academic credentials in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
