Title and Summary

Director, Identity Value Chain Expansion We are looking for a strategy development lead for M&A and investment initiatives within the Identity space to expand our business into new and existing value chains.

All about the Role:
• Work with team members and key stakeholders to develop acquisition and investment strategies serving different business expansion needs in Identity Solutions
• Develop and own the investment/acquisition business case for synergy products, and perform financial analysis (NPV calculations, accretion timelines) to determine financial viability
• Develop a detailed perspective on the market landscape – including customer pain points, growth drivers, companies of interest, regulatory impacts, regional nuances – as it pertains to different segments of the identity space
• Assess and recommend specific companies for investment/acquisition based on alignment with strategy, capabilities set, financial performance, markets/segments served, etc.
• Work across Mastercard business units to identify and quantify synergy opportunities with target companies
• Develop materials to communicate strategies to senior executives for cadenced updates and key milestone approvals

All About You
- Strong knowledge of finance as related to M&A and corporate investments
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including building investment business cases
- Ability to quickly research and develop a thoughtful perspective on new markets, companies, and strategic opportunities
- Proven ability to provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations
- Leader with ability to influence cross-functional teams outside your defined reporting structure
- Demonstrated skill with breaking down problems and organizing work
- Strong executive communications skills

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
