Title and Summary

Director, Product Management - Credit MEA Affluent, Travel The Middle East Africa Consumer Core Credit team is performance driven and works cross functionally across the MasterCard network, Globally, Regionally and locally, to refine, execute & manage winning propositions that drive market share, revenue and transaction volume for MasterCard in the region.

The team is responsible for the ownership and market differentiation of MasterCard Consumer Credit products within Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe - including product strategy, innovation, branding, sales enablement, market positioning, end to end consumer & customer experience, operations and performance.

Mastercard is looking for an agile team player to lead project manage, design, shape, and drive new product development for the Credit products focused on Affluent. Winning in certain consumer passion areas is essential of which Travel is a key priority which will include developing new experiences across the moments that matter during the consumer journey.

Role:

Reporting to VP, EEMEA, this person will be an integral part of the Product team and relevant stakeholders to assess program and/or product objectives and implement an effective plan and strategy for delivery. As a Director, Product Management, your roll will include:

• Co-lead Mastercard's Mass and Mass Affluent Credit Products & Strategy, including planning and forecasting, market research, development of new Customer Value Propositions (CVP), marketing and management of existing benefits, market roll-outs / penetration strategy and support
• Lead the identification and implementation of ways how to innovate and enhance the underlying product constructs, including but not limited to; product codes, unit pricing and profitability
• CX/UX lead for all Mastercard Credit card platforms, benefits and features ensuring consumer experience is seamless across all channels. Digitize consumer experience for accessing and redeeming benefits on Mastercard / Issuer platforms
• Development of Best Practices, Case Studies and competitive analyses (including gap analyses) for the relevant products/segments. Liaise with the global team to leverage insights, learnings and platforms to support MEA Credit products
• Lead the Quarterly Performance review and reporting across all product categories to derive which markets, products and Customers that have driven movements on GDV and Cards. The review will be linked up with action plans together with CSCs and presented back to Divisional Presidents and Country managers on a quarterly basis
• Special projects: project work can vary, but may include managing internal and client expectations, data analysis, and leading day to day execution

• Multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e. product management, consulting, marketing, business development, etc.
• Ability to comfortably lead strategic product conversations with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent presentation, oral and written business presentation skills with various levels of audience
• Experience leading projects through all phases of the project/product development lifecycle
• Ability to handle multiple partners and projects from initiation to completion
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution and/or project management skills
• Understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends, i.e. fintech's, startups
• Intermediate technical/operations experience within financial/payments industry
• Interest in working in a fast pace and evolving environment
• Strong analytical and organizational skills - ability to identify process/efficiency enhancements and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt personal work style to accommodate an ever changing, diverse and global environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Must be a self-directed, self-starter comfortable working with strong degree of autonomy to accomplish results

Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's or master's degree
• Experience in payments or product development preferred

Language:
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English,
• Arabic and/or French is a definite plus.
