Title and Summary
Director, Product Management The Services team and solutions fuel growth for partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, tourism agencies, public sector entities, restaurants, consumer goods and telecom companies.Mastercard Identity, within the Security Solutions organization, leads the development of products and services that enable global commerce, power financial inclusion, prevent crime, and make some of the most seamless experiences possible. As part of Mastercard Identity, the Identity Verification team drives the development and management of products, programs, and services focused on risk assessment and/or verification individuals. The team delivers significant value across the ecosystem, helping to combat new fraud and ensure secure commerce across the network.
The Director of Product Development, Identity Verification, plays a pivotal role in shaping Mastercard's business identity business by leading the focus on the Agentic solutions required to identify and maintain risk scores associated with them to enable trust in agentic commerce and more. This role is responsible for translating strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps, driving execution across cross-functional teams including the agent pay (Core) team, engineering, data science, commercialization, and legal. The Director partners closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver the Agentic Trust framework. With a strong focus on execution, customer impact, and market differentiation, the Director ensures the capabilities delivered provide measurable value and align with Mastercard's broader vision for digital trust infrastructure.
About the Role:
• Translate strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps for Agentic Trust, including the Know Your Agent (KYA) registry, agent behavior, and agent trust score and signals.
• Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, data science, legal, and Integrity and Standards teams to deliver scalable capabilities that support secure onboarding, fraud mitigation, and regulatory compliance, and facilitate conversations among Industry standards bodies.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external customers to gather insights, define product requirements, and prioritize features that drive adoption and measurable impact.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and standards annoucements to inform product strategy and ensure Business Identity offerings remain differentiated and aligned with Mastercard's digital trust vision.
• Manage product lifecycle activities, including launch and post launch product planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement based on customer feedback and data-driven insights.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, mentoring product managers and contributing to a high-performing team focused on innovation and customer success.
All About You:
• Business experience in product management, product development, or business development in financial services and/or bankcard industry preferred.
• Experience with AI and/or Machine Learning
• Extensive experience in creating product strategies, roadmaps, pricing and product positioning
• Experience translating strategies into product launches and implementation plan in multiple markets
• Demonstrated thought leadership, product expertise, strong project management skills in the integration of technology into new products
• Demonstrated success in Product Management and Product Development life cycles delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams.
• Prioritize product features and capabilities based on user value and business impact.
• Collaborate closely with technology team, marketing, regional support, and other stakeholders.
• Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently and operates with a sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in Cybersecurity preferred
• Experience with ecommerce and/or digital identity preferred
• Experience with Agile product development preferred
• Background with Cloud Architecture preferred
