Role: Director, Network Products
As Director of Network Products, you will lead the development and management of innovative products and services within Mastercard's global core payment network. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, capable of driving cross-functional collaboration and delivering impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and lead end-to-end product management for a portfolio of network products, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's strategic goals.
• Drive high-impact initiatives from concept to execution, including problem structuring, solution design, and delivery.
• Develop compelling strategic narratives and presentations to influence senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with internal teams, regional markets, and customers to identify network needs and develop scalable solutions.
• Partner with commercialization and pricing teams to drive product adoption and growth.
• Build robust business cases through high-quality analysis of internal data—sizing opportunities, evaluating costs and revenues, and identifying customer and geographic trends.
• Lead the Studio process to manage ongoing innovation and product enhancements.
• Work closely with technology teams to understand system capabilities and constraints, and to define feasible solutions.
• Maintain an independent mindset and view of the facts, develop a strong view of the best available approaches, make a compelling case and push hard for the right outcome – and stay flexible and pragmatic in your approach to getting things done.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure successful implementation and delivery of products.
• Develop go-to-market strategies, including customer engagement, pricing models, and rollout plans.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier program preferred.
• 7+ years of experience, including 4+ years in product management and strategy consulting or internal strategy roles, with at least 1+ year of project leadership.
• Deep understanding of the payments and/or financial services industry.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing a team and influencing teammates towards an objective.
• Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills and business acumen; seasoned in identifying the most critical aspects of a problem and handling ambiguity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience creating high-quality presentations and memos.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, break down complex asks into tangible steps.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
• Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously using project management tools, trackers, and structured workflows to ensure timely execution and follow-through
• Experience working on a cross-functional team/project to come up with the best solution.
• Be a good collaborator and listener, influencer and able to navigate a matrixed organization and reporting structure. Be able to navigate ambiguity with ease.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
