Title and Summary

Finance Business Partner Leader, Regional Finance – Peru Cluster
Overview
• Responsible for a broad range of finance related responsibilities and acts as a finance generalist for Peru.
• Activities include deal management, short/long-term planning, contract management, pricing and product management

Responsibilities
• Manages aspects of financial and budgeting related needs and requirements for Peru.
• Ensure P&L understanding and implications for local board and key stakeholders. Provides financial insights to group heads/executives, applying an understanding of budgets, and forecasts at a detailed level
• Provide and regularly review plans going forward, articulating risks and opportunities.
• Define yearly plans and budgeting process, including revenue & business drivers, incentives and rebates, A&M and GO&A expense controls.
• Partners with regions, business units, business partners and/or corporate to assist in developing, analyzing and validating new business opportunities. May support regional level payments by working with issuing and/or acquiring banks to analyze the integrity of payments and resolve billing inquiries
• Performs new opportunity assessments by providing counsel to the business around ongoing deals and Customer Business Agreements [CBA]
• Executes large, complex agreements, leveraging subject matter expertise [SME] for their designated area (e.g.. financial & data technology tools)
• Assists with strategy and process improvements to ensure alignment with market objectives; proactively identifies ways to improve processes and executes agreed upon improvements
• Ensures compliance with policies. May perform control testing. Establish a strong internal control environment.
• Have a positive influence/ impact on finance staff and region personnel and is viewed as a leader within the group. Foster cooperation and teamwork among team members.

Experiences
• University degree in a financial or related field. MBA desired.
• Extensive experience building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships in order to assist with the needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Experience leading the aspects of the management reporting (e.g.. monthly financial results, quarterly forecasting, annual budgets)
• Experience consulting and providing advice and feedback to the business on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging advanced analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events
• Experienced with financial systems and applications; serves as a resource to those less experienced (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities; makes recommendations to further improve procedures
• Successfully resolves complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Successfully embodies change management; executes corporate cultural initiatives, enhancing the support of an ever-evolving environment to fulfill corporate goals and objectives
• English and Spanish required.
