Title and Summary
Lead Software Engineer Overview• Core Payments division of MasterCard is involved in developing & supporting Authorization, Clearing solutions for MasterCard customers
• MasterCard Network Gateway Services (MNGS) is a sub-system within Core Payments that caters to customers processing non-mastercard payments
Functions include the following:
Process non-mastercard transactions (Switching)
Clearing of these transactions and settlement with networks, customers (Financial Institutions)
Exception processing of these transactions (Disputes handling)
• Develop solutions for MNGS and other Core Payments systems including Clearing. This would involve Support, Analysis, Design, Coding, testing and Implementation
• Provide Connex application support, develop and implement the fix
• Coordinate and work with interfacing applications and MasterCard vendors to ensure success of the project
• Are you aware of Support methodology, Project Development Lifecycle, Waterfall and Agile methodologies?
• Have you worked with teams across countries?
• Do you have an understanding of Payment and Cards industry?
Role
• Support MNGS Connex Switch on HP Non Stop
• Coordinate and work with MNGS application development team and other teams within Clearing solutions
• Coordination with teams at St. Louis and Vendors based in various locations
All About You
• Strong Experience on Connex (an FIS product) on HP Non Stop
• Strong knowledge in Connex components like PI, PMC, CED and exposure to other Connex utilities like Statmon
• Strong knowledge in TAL/pTAL, TACL, Enscribe, Non-stop SQL, FUP, Pathway
• Strong exposure to Messaging systems and ISO8583 messaging formats
• Good to have knowledge on simulators Fastest/Webfastest, VTS, MDS
• Analytical and reasoning skills
• Basic Software development skills
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Strong Communication with good verbal and written skills
