Lead Technical Program Manager Overview
The AI & Decision Product Enablement Program (AI & DPE) is a transformative internal product suite that powers intelligent decision-making across market-facing products. It delivers industry-leading intelligence by applying complex business logic throughout the payment journey and beyond—enabling real-time, scalable decisions. The platform leverages supercomputing, advanced business rules, AI technologies, streaming big data clusters, high-speed in-memory caching, APIs, and UIs to enrich data and drive impactful outcomes.
We are looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager who will oversee infrastructure estimation, capacity planning, and forecasting to enable the delivery of key initiatives. The role includes managing dependencies and risks, as well as maintaining communication with stakeholders. This position is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of strategic priorities and promoting alignment among engineering, product, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to optimize infrastructure intake, analysis, and estimation.
Manage the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure for the platform, report progress, ensure dependencies are addressed, oversee gaps and processes, and remove blocking issues to achieve successful delivery. Accelerate progress by making clear and timely decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across AI & DPE and lead infrastructure projects focused on enhancing system reliability through technical solutions and upgrades.
Continuously assess and improve measures based on industry best practices and emerging technologies
Possess experience in and understand industry technologies as well as program, product, or technology domains. Maintain sufficient depth and credibility to be effective with the teams they work with.
Serve as the first point of contact for infrastructure delivery/projects and communicate status and executive reporting.
Define and track KPIs to measure improvements and track ongoing infra build & onboarding for the program.
Support Agile Release Trains and drive Program Increment (PI) planning and execution.
Mentor team members.

About You
Proven success leading programs involving complex infrastructure architecture.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
Adept at navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments while managing multiple priorities.
Sound technical judgment to challenge assumptions and collaborate with architects & engineers.
Proficient in Agile practices with strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and SDLC (software development life cycle).
Strong background in technical project and/or program management.
Proficient with tools such as Aha, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Power BI and DOMO. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
