Title and Summary

Manager, Account Management Overview:
This is an opportunity to join the Market Development, LAC team, an agile and high performing team focused on expanding into new areas. We work with the biggest names in tech, ecommerce and financial services to leverage Mastercard's technological capabilities to solve real world problems for our partners and their customers, create new product propositions, and ensure seamless, secure and inclusive payments.
As a Manager, Account Management, you will grow the LAC region acquiring business while executing on Mastercard's strategic product roadmap, build strong partnerships and manage key Acquirers and acceptance enablers. These customers play a key role in the development and commercialization of strategic products making a strong partnership with close alignment on strategic priorities critical to the success of Mastercard as well as our clients.
You will report into the Vice President, Acceptance, LAC - taking responsibility for business development and day-to-day Account Management while driving revenue growth and deployment of strategically important products and services. We are looking for a self-motivated, structured problem solver with a strategic mindset and an ability to form strong relationships internally as well as externally.

Role
• Defend and grow revenues through relationship management and commercialization of product solutions, working with key Mastercard internal stakeholders
• Responsible for development and management of a successful sales pipeline of new business initiatives that support Mastercard strategic goals
• Drive business development opportunities and innovative commercial proposals delivering increased revenue and/or market share, and growth through Product, Services and VAS sales
• Broaden the relationship with client stakeholders to drive more strategic discussions and entrenchment of the Mastercard brand
• Provide insight into a partner's business and relevant recommendations thinking strategically and broadly
• Establish day to day business relationships and work with partners to create roadmaps. Ensure alignment on strategy and execution on agreed projects through QBRs and daily interactions

All About You
• Self-starter/self-motivated
• Prior experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales roles
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills with the ability to close deals
• Strategic mindset
• Ability to navigate through large organizations and influence without direct authority
• Strong understanding of the Payments industry including Acquiring and Issuing
• Ability to think outside the box and recognize the value of alternative thinking
• Excellent communicator and influencer with strong negotiation skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-tasking and sometimes ambiguous environment
• Ability to build and maintain internal relationships with senior management and key stakeholders across the business, drive inter regional alignment, and gain support for the strategic direction of the business
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or other related field
• Language requirement: fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is beneficial but not required
