Title and Summary

Manager, Agentic Strategic Business Development-2 Overview:
We're building the future of commerce—one that is agentic, intelligent, and deeply personalized. As a Manager, Agentic Strategic Business Development, on Mastercard's Agentic AI team, you will help define and grow the ecosystem that connects AI, payments, and commerce. You'll work at the intersection of technology and partnerships—supporting go-to-market execution, managing partner engagements, and contributing to industry-defining initiatives.

The Global Partnerships team is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial, and execution-focused Manager, Agentic Strategic Business Development, to support the commercialization of our Agentic AI solutions. You'll identify and evaluate partnership opportunities, contribute to co-innovation projects, and collaborate across product, engineering, legal, and marketing to bring initiatives to market.

Role:
• Support the execution of Mastercard's agentic commerce business development activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and structure partnerships across AI platforms, consumer agents, retailers, and commerce infrastructure providers.
• Support development of commercial models and deal constructs for clients, partners, and Mastercard
• Day-to-day account and relationship management, including coordination of meetings, follow-ups, and reporting.
• Support and inform strategy and development by working with clients and partners to understand their needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support go-to-market launches, pilots, and commercialization efforts.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and execution.
• Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare presentations, deal support materials, and program documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather insights and feedback from partners and customers to help influence product and ecosystem strategy.

All About You:
• Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, consulting, or product-related roles in fintech, payments, commerce, or technology.
• Experience supporting or executing partnership initiatives, including research, deal support, and program management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort in partner-facing situations.
• Curiosity about AI, fintech, and the future of commerce, with a desire to stay ahead of emerging trends.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing multiple priorities.
• Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work across functions and geographies.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
