Title and Summary

Manager, Product Development Cybersecurity The Services team and solutions fuel growth for partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, tourism agencies, public sector entities, restaurants, consumer goods and telecom companies.

Overview:
The Cybersecurity Services Program is embarking on an exciting new project and is seeking a skilled and motivated Product Development Owner to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the development of a cutting-edge project from the ground up. As a Product Development Owner, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager to execute critical tasks for project success. You will ensure development teams deliver high-quality work aligned with business requirements, remove blockers, and keep all stakeholders informed on project progress. You will advocate for the best outcomes for the program, product, and customers by balancing demand with resources to deliver the highest value within achievable timelines. You will be responsible for implementing the product roadmap by translating business requirements to engineering teams and managing Epics throughout the software engineering lifecycle.

Role:
• Collaborate with the Product Manager Lead to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines for the project.
• Ensure development aligns with the project's goals and vision, maintaining a clear and accurate product backlog.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential blockers, and proactively work to resolve them.
• Act as the main point of contact between the business and development teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
• Regularly report on project status, timelines, and deliverables to key stakeholders.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert and Product Knowledge Leader for assigned product(s).
• Evangelize product goals from the customer perspective (voice of the customer) with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure development meets Program and Product Objectives.
• Own ideation sessions and coordinate high-level solutioning efforts with Business Architecture and internal solutioning teams.
• Manage Program and Intake processes to ensure optimal resource allocation, timeline commitments, external team dependencies, cross synergies, and efficiencies.
• Break down business requirements and high-level solutioning into deliverable Epics in conjunction with the Engineering Team.
• Refine Epics (Exploration/Elaboration) and prioritize features.
• Handover Epics to scrum team and own delivery roadmap and prioritization to drive release planning.
• Ensure features developed meet requirements and provide transparency into delivery status, risks, and external team engagement.
• Follow Mastercard Standards and Platforms processes.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and Product Development team activities as needed.

All About You
• Expert knowledge in Software Engineering Lifecycle.
• Ability to manage priorities and delegate tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred but not required:
○ Cybersecurity subject matter expertise
○ UI experience
○ AHA expertise
• Strong communicator, both written and oral.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to build partnerships across teams and mediate conflict.
• Proactive mindset with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $119,000 - $190,000 USD
