Title and Summary

Product Innovation Manager (Foundry) Overview
At Mastercard, we believe that the future of our business depends on our ability to define and differentiate new products and solutions that drive value for our customers. Mastercard Foundry is the innovation engine of Mastercard with cross-functional teams that combines expertise across product, engineering and customer experience and design to accelerate new product development. Within the Foundry, the Commercial Portfolio team leverages the Foundry's skills and capabilities to support the Mastercard Commercial Product team in developing and delivering world-class solutions for small, middle and large sized enterprises around the world. The Manager, Product Development role will be a key part of the Portfolio team, and will drive the identification, de-risking, and delivery of new opportunities for products and solutions in the Commercial space.

Role
• Help drive the generation and analysis of new concepts for Commercial products and solutions, interfacing with internal product teams, Commercial customers, and Commercial end-users
• Own the development of concepts into commercial products, from concept through to pilot, incubation and commercialization, leveraging the Foundry Engineering, Customer Research, and Experience Design teams
• Develop and own product roadmaps, pilot launch plans and business cases throughout the product development process
• Build relationships across the Global Products teams and Foundry teams to support the delivery of new products.
• Support the ideation and development of a strong pipeline of Foundry projects leveraging internal and external relationships
• Uses a data-driven approach to assess market opportunities and to build business cases incorporating accurate representations of future revenues and expense bases.

All About You
• Experience in developing and commercializing new products
• Understanding of product development concepts and practices across the product development life cycle.
• Experience in overseeing the rapid prototyping process for global/ multi-region products
• Demonstrated success in generating, structuring, evaluating, and promoting innovative ideas within an organization
• Able to build relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams
• Strong communication skills, able to articulate and where necessary simplify concepts and details.
• A strong interest and understanding of the payments industry and/or working in a B2B2C ecosystem. Commercial / B2B payments experience desirable but not a pre-requisite.
