Overview
The MPGS product management team is part of a global product function at the centre of payments innovation delivering leading customer experiences through our connected gateway. As part of this remit the team is responsible for defining the strategy, and executing the delivery of, market-leading payment gateway products & value-added services to our acquirers and merchants on a global basis.
Mastercard Gateway is a rapidly expanding global business within Mastercard, offering a large portfolio of products and services across markets. We are seeking a forward-thinking manager to drive revenue and billing optimization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, product, and operations, shaping how Mastercard Gateway captures value and scales its commercial impact globally.
This is a high-visibility role at the core of Mastercard Gateway's growth agenda reporting to VP, Revenue Optimization team. The role offers the opportunity to shape pricing and billing strategy globally, establish scalable automation, and influence cross-functional decisions at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect and lead billing flow frameworks for Gateway processing, products and services, supporting the commercial financial obligations and enabling accurate, scalable billing across products and regions.
• Develop and execute process optimization initiatives to enhance billing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Global Billing teams to create and streamline billing structure, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Lead end-to-end revenue assurance initiatives, identifying leakage points across implementation, onboarding, and billing processes.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Regional leaders to design innovative frameworks and automated processes to ensure continuous monitoring, audit accuracy, and long-term revenue protection.
• Establish governance processes for contract-to-billing handovers, ensuring compliance and timely revenue recognition.
• Represent Billing within Studio (product lifecycle governance), reviewing products for commercialization readiness.

All About You
• Understanding of the ecosystem of payment processing, authorization and acquiring services, with specific experience with an acquirer or payment service provider preferred.
• Collaborative team player: proven track record in collaborating with multiple cross-functional (both internal and external) teams across multiple locations; exceptional in facilitating challenging conversations and managing ambiguity
• Natural problem solver: analytical, curious with a “can-do” attitude; solutions-oriented skillset and fact-driven approach to product development.
• Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
• Experience in Product Management, revenue optimization, and/or strategy (payments or fintech preferred).
• Strong analytical, business and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of crafting compelling narratives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment, balancing strategic vision with execution.
• Knowledge and skills using product management tools, (e.g. market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, pricing, business case development)
• Bachelor's degree in business or relevant experience; advanced degree is helpful
• Technical background (e.g. Computer Science or related field) a plus
