Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management – Card Payments & Processing The role is part of the Global Product Management team for Mastercard Gateway working in Processing & Localization domain which owns core processing engine and ecommerce payment product.

Role
• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, solution architects and business analysts to build and run online card payment product, the core processing platform and all aspects of its scalability, reliability, security, and compliance.
• Ensure we are solving the right problems in a way that delivers value to our global customer base and is viable for Mastercard Gateway.
• Articulate vision for card payments, evangelize & execute on near to medium term strategy.
• Effectively prioritize the team's backlog balancing short-term tactical with medium-term strategic priorities and own the overall roadmap.
• Define and document the problem, scope, functional specifications and requirements, use cases and success criteria for new functionality.
• Own go to market activities to successfully launch and scale new products and enhancements.
• Be the expert on both the needs and key pain points of our users and customers as well as ways to address them.
• Measure success of the product capabilities within your remit, propose optimization strategies and help define key OKRs for your teams.
• Be an ambassador for contemporary, customer-centred product thinking and a catalyst for positive change across the cross functional teams

All About You
• 6+ years as individual contributor in a product role, with a track record of delivering excellent results.
• Strong expertise and experience in card payment processing, understanding of the market landscape and having the ability to connect the technical drivers with business ones.
• Value collaboration and prefer building long term partnerships with your colleagues but you can speak up, disagree and debate rigorously when required.
• Natural empathy for customers shapes the way you think about building and launching products.
• Comfortable gleaning actionable product insights from customer and stakeholder conversations, customer/market analysis and domain data assets.
• Can talk about the customer value of a new feature with the business teams as well as discuss technical solution trade-offs with the engineering team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can simplify complex problems and requirements to make them more accessible to a wider audience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization – you can influence, persuade, and get things done without having the formal authority over other teams and people.
