Title and Summary

Network Partnership Manager, Southeast and East Asia Overview of Role

Mastercard Transfer Solutions is a key component in establishing Mastercard as a global player in Cross-border payments and facilitate secure, fast and transparent delivery of funds.

As the Network Partnership Manager, you will be managing the Southeast Asia and East Asia markets and work hand in hand with the regional, global and market teams to scale our Transfer Solutions capabilities in APAC. You will have direct oversight of the Southeast and East Asia market's cross border services (MA XBS) network, comprising of banks and NBFIs. Managing the existing relationships and expanding the network capabilities in line with strategic network and product objectives

Responsibilities

• Oversee all MA Cross-Border Services partnership in Southeast and East Asia
• Drive the expansion and the improvement of the MA Cross Border network in Southeast and East Asia in line with the network and product roadmap strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology partners where necessary and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities for remittances, partnerships, and market trends to expand Mastercard Cross-Border Services product offerings and market reach.
• Lead negotiations and contract discussions with existing and potential partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Stay updated to industry regulations, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure the company's products and services meet all necessary standards.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and refine product strategies, COGS models and partnership launch plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including treasury, finance, sales, marketing, product, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful corridor growth.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market gaps, emerging trends, and potential areas of innovation.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals and business cases to prospects and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance, identify areas of improvement and implement necessary strategies.
• Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship and sharing knowledge with internal stakeholders, to foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.

All about You

• Possesses at least 10 years of partnerships experience in the payments industry.
• Proven ability to evolve in a complex matrix environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy.
• Able to communicate well with stakeholders such as executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
• Has experience in international (specifically remittances) payments, foreign exchange, cash management, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent knowledge of local Southeast and East Asia payments infrastructure & industry.
• Good experience working in remittance space.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and managing payment partnerships.
• Proficiency in written and oral communication in English and Chinese is a must.
