Title and Summary
Product Manager OverviewThe Manager, Product Management, plays a pivotal role in driving strategic alignment, prioritizing initiatives, and delivering innovative solutions across cross-functional teams for the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES). This role requires a strong understanding of program management, product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and the broader payments ecosystem to ensure successful execution of product objectives.
Job Responsibilities
• Drive alignment across multiple organizations and teams to ensure strategic consistency.
• Coordinate roadmaps, propose solutions, and track progress against key objectives.
• Actively participate and drive the digital core prioritization process across digital and core switching domains.
• Communicate prioritization changes and commitments effectively to senior leadership.
• Manage bi-weekly program updates, roadmap reviews, and related program activities.
• Continuously evolve the operating model to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Train and mentor team members on the operating model and best practices.
• Apply a data-driven approach to identify enhancement opportunities and shape the product roadmap.
• Understand Mastercard's business model and integrate financial/commercial considerations into decision-making.
• Ensure delivery of capabilities aligns with the broader payment's ecosystem, including regulatory, legal, compliance, and competitive factors.
• Communicate risks and solutions to senior management to support timelines and budgets.
• Use data and dashboards to monitor product performance and identify challenges.
• Collaborate with Product, Technical Product Management, and CX&D teams to develop business requirements.
• Drive consistent documentation practices across the Studio framework to institutionalize knowledge.
• Engage in continuous learning through internal development programs.
• Lead by example, demonstrating product management excellence and sharing best practices.
• Embody and promote Mastercard Way behaviors in all customer and stakeholder interactions.
Experience
• Demonstrated program management and product management (including technical) experience.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Highly collaborative across functional teams and influenced stakeholders across geographies.
• Communicates with clarity and impact, both verbally and in writing.
• Builds and nurtures strong relationships through interpersonal effectiveness.
• Proactive and self-managed, consistently driving results and continuous improvement.
