Overview

Micro, Small, and Medium Businesses (SMEs) are a critical driver of global economic growth and represent 75% of the global workforce and about 50% of the global GDP. Additionally, SMEs foster inclusion, as minorities own 45% of small businesses, and 1/3 of small businesses are women-owned. As such, SMEs have become a top priority for many governments and enterprises. Mastercard segment strategy is based on continuing to drive growth by developing new innovative solutions and expanding product distribution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading key practices related to the commercialization and portfolio management of products for SMEs in Brazil.

The Mastercard team is looking for an SME Senior Sales Specialist to drive our SME product strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

This position will be responsible for:
• Manage the P&L and key business indicators of the unit, developing dashboards and analytical views to monitor the performance of the SME product portfolio.
• Lead the development and management of SME products for the Brazilian market, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategies and tactical plans for marketing, communication, go-to-market, and distribution channels.
• Develop commercial strategies and foster relationships with ecosystem stakeholders to drive adoption of SME products in the Brazilian market.

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Strong technical skills in data analysis, including the ability to create reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of product management across all dimensions: Marketing, Sales Channels, and Commercial Strategy.
• Prior experience and deep knowledge of the card payment ecosystem and payment flows, especially in Commercial Payments.
• Analytical and innovative mindset, with a strong understanding of matrix organizations.
• Ability to navigate both technical and business-oriented conversations effectively.
• Excellent writing skills, with experience in developing training materials, product documentation, and user guides.
• Strong customer relationship management skills, with the ability to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
• Availability to be in the office 3x per week.
