Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Account Management Role OverviewThe Senior Analyst Account Management is a key position within the German market and our Sales Organization, driving success in local markets.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships, accelerating business growth, and leading strategic initiatives with a special focus on banking and issuing
Responsibilities
• Develop and expand customer relationship, promoting Mastercard's full range of products and services.
• Design, implement, and own customer strategies to enhance profitability, competitive advantage, and achievement of business goals.
• Identify and realize new business opportunities in the German market.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver optimal results for customers.
• Manage financial performance, ensuring all target metrics are met.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Mastercard and the customer, ensuring strategic alignment and mutual success.
• Foster relationships with internal Mastercard partners (Business Development, Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance, Franchise, etc.) to ensure comprehensive support for customers.
• Support annual and long-term planning cycles.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
• Proven success in account management, sales, or similar roles, with demonstrable experience in negotiations and contract management.
• Experience in revenue management and P&L responsibility.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Self-starter, independent, and highly proactive.
• Card industry expertise and project management experience.
• Ability to identify strategic opportunities and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Experience in managing and motivating teams.
• Fluent in German and English. Additional languages are an advantage.
