Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner Overview:

The Financial Planning & Analysis function manages all aspects of management reporting encompassing budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning. This includes the management and execution of the corporate reporting and planning requirements
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Finance team supporting the Western Europe Division. Reporting to the WE DFO, she/he will play a key role in partnering with the business, the local & central finance teams.

Key responsibilities are:
• Partner with the Western Management Team to develop and execute strategic and tactical priorities/initiatives and evaluate the financial impact
• Responsible for Financial Reporting:
o Develop a consistent value-added consolidated financial information package for Western Division, including metrics and key drivers
o Develop ad-hoc reporting to support needs of the Country managers, business development & Finance Managers.
• Support FP&A and Finance Managers to ensure robust planning forecasting process and improve accuracy levels
• Support in the preparation of Divisional Long Term Plan, Budget, Quarterly Forecasts, Monthly results analysis and key variances
• Develop yield analysis at country level & profitability analysis by customer (Starting with key one's for top markets), by product and channel (issuing vs. acquiring, emerging payments).
• Manages and conduct specific results and financial analysis
• Consolidate, validate and challenge monthly Risks and Opportunities
• Analyse impact of Pricing initiatives from Customer Economics team and manage the communication process with the local markets
• Works with DFO and Divisional President to set objectives and targets for management team
• Maintain dashboard for the division & countries to track KPI evolution
• Analyse and interpret market dynamics and trends to evaluate impact on financial performances and projections
• Manage the funds for the division: ensure forecast accuracy & track investments level with the local teams
• Support and prepare QBR presentations, Execution Plans, Market Sizing, Quarterly Disclosure Letters and Risk management initiatives
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to the benefit of the Western local finance teams
• Maintain strong interaction with the Europe Finance teams (Controlling, GBSC, BDF, FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit), drawing upon specialist skills to provide appropriate solutions
• Assist DFO and Divisional President in extraordinary activities (Partnerships, JV, M&A, Board presentation)

Key relationships: The person will build strong relationships with the Western Divisional Finance president, with the finance manager, country managers, and key leads as well as with the other division finance teams and European FP&A, GBSC, BDF & Controller colleagues.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in business, accounting and/or Finance
• Broad understanding of all the different areas of finance
• High intellect with strong business acumen and a creative approach to problem solving
• Excellent strategic thinking, business understanding and commercial acumen
• Outstanding verbal and written English language skills
• Analytical, numeric and detail oriented with Excellent Excel skills. Ability to handle large data-sets efficiently
• Results and deadline driven with the ability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to constructively influence colleagues both in Finance and other departments.
• Good interpersonal skills with a track record of cross functional collaboration
• Able to work with ambiguity with the ability to decide and act without the full picture
• Self-motivated and a self-starter with a drive for continuous improvement
• Must be able to step back and see the bigger picture
