Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Real Estate Services (Environmental Sustainability) Overview:
The position will be based in the Environmental Sustainability department, as Sr. Analyst supporting our efforts to build and maintain a sustainable supply chain. In this role, you will assist with the development and implementation of Supplier Engagement Strategies that help reduce environmental impact and support our company's net zero goals.

Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Sustainability, the Supply Chain Sustainability Sr. Analyst will work closely with teams across the organization, and supply chain partners to help foster Supplier Engagement & Collaboration progress, supporting companywide environmental sustainability goals and frameworks for Scope 3 Supply Chain.

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Sr. Sustainability Analyst with experience to support and advance our supply chain sustainability initiatives. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that reduce environmental impact, particularly Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to drive progress toward our sustainability goals and targets.

Role:
• Provide insights and support on sustainability topics such as emissions reduction strategies, supplier engagement, GHG data analysis, and sustainability goal setting.
• Act as a key liaison between the Environmental Sustainability team and stakeholders across different business functions (Technology, Marketing, Loyalty, and Professional Services).
• Assist in implementing and monitoring a sustainable supply chain strategy tailored to specific supplier activities to reduce GHG emissions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and supply chain partners to identify sustainability gaps and support the development of scalable, replicable solutions.
• Work with all supplier categories to support the Supplier Engagement / creation of policies, training materials, related to sustainability.
• Contribute to supplier engagement workstreams, including supplier target setting (Science-Based Targets), annual CDP survey process, and collaboration projects.
• Monitor and analyze emerging industry best practices to identify actionable strategies for reducing emissions across the supply chain.
• Help develop and track strategic plans, performance targets, and roadmaps for supply chain sustainability initiatives.

All About You:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in sustainability, impact-focused or supply chain roles.
• Familiarity with Scope 3 emissions, Impact frameworks, and sustainability reporting (e.g., CDP, SBTi, GHG Protocol, RE100).
• Understanding of emissions reduction levers across multiple industries and business functions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Skilled in delivering presentations to senior leadership using PowerPoint and other visual communication tools.
• Experience with data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and project coordination.
• Passion for sustainability and a desire to grow in a purpose-driven role.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
